The Board of Directors will have a new composition with a combination of continuity and renewal: Two members will resign, two will continue, and Kræn Nielsen will take over the position as Chairman of the Board.

In recent years, Enity A/S has taken great steps in the development of our business – from Danish pioneer in energy monitoring to international EMS platform for energy efficiency. In continuation of this development, we are now taking the next step in the Board of Directors and bringing strong tech-oriented competencies into the composition of the Board of Directors that can support our local and international ambitions as a modern CleanTech player.

Thus, it is with great pleasure that we can now welcome Kræn Østergård Nielsen as Enity’s new Chairman of the Board. We already know him – from the customer side in his previous role as CEO of Coop, but also as an experienced profile with deep insight into digitalization, strategic transformation and technology companies such as Enity A/S. With his experience and perspective, Enity gets a strong sparring partner to support our further growth and development.

“It is a really exciting task to take over as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Enity A/S at a time when constant changes in the landscape place high demands on both technology and decisiveness. The company has a clear and uncompromising focus on energy efficiency and on the role, technology plays in the green transition. Enity A/S is on an extraordinary growth journey with ambitious plans for both the business and our customers, and I see great potential in scaling our technological reach so that we can be at the forefront of future energy monitoring and create even greater impact from energy efficiency.

After seven years of close association with the company through OK’s Board of Directors, I have seen the difference Enity A/S makes – for the climate through direct CO₂ reductions, for customers and partners through data-driven energy savings and new business opportunities, and for our employees as a place where talented people can develop.

With my background in AI, software and scaling technology companies, I see a strong foundation for creating market-leading AI-based energy optimization in Enity, and I am very much looking forward to working with everyone in Enity A/S.”

Michael Løve will now transition from the role of Chairman of the Board to an ordinary member of the Board, where he represents OK as the owner of Enity, and will continue to contribute with his insight and commitment.

Kræn Nielsen’s appointment as new Chairman of the Board of Directors entails the following changes in the composition of the Board of Directors:

  • Chairman of the Board: Kræn Østergaard Nielsen
  • Ordinary member: Michael Løve, CEO of OK a.m.b.a
  • Ordinary member: Michael Lambert, COO of OK a.m.b.a
  • Erik Larsen and Flemming Møller Rasmussen resign from the Board of Directors
  • In addition, CEO Morten Dysted Dahl and CFO Lisbeth Borum are regular management representatives at the board meetings

The Board of Directors is an important part of Enity’s support structure and has a corresponding important role in the company’s development and direction. It is therefore a very positive development to have Kræn’s strong experience and perspective on board, and we look forward to the collaboration.
