New name marks international growth and future ambitions.

EnergiData changes its name to Enity – a significant step in the company's development from Danish pioneer in energy monitoring to international EMS platform for energy efficiency. After many years of targeted development and international growth, EnergiData is now taking a decisive step in the company's strategic transformation and changing its name to Enity.
"EnergiData has undergone – and is still in the midst of – a comprehensive transformation. We have gone from being a Danish SaaS company with a niche focus on energy and monitoring, to today being much more than that - a modern CleanTech player with international ambitions. The new name is a clear and tangible symbol of this development," says CEO, Morten Dysted Dahl.
According to him, the rebranding has been a necessary strategic move to reposition the company in the global energy landscape to the company we are today and tomorrow.
"We are a completely different company today than when EnergiData started in 1997 or when OK bought us in 2008. In the 12 years I have been part of the journey, we have bit by bit transformed from a smaller Danish energy specialist to become an international and modern SaaS company. We have customers who have been with us for more than 10 years – they have been a big part of our development. They bought a solution back then that was only a fraction of what our solution can do today. So there is also an important signal to our customers that we are evolving. That we are constantly thinking ahead, not only about how intelligent energy monitoring and EMS should take place today, but also what is required of us tomorrow," says Morten Dysted Dahl.
In addition, we are increasingly operating internationally with 25% of the company's business outside Denmark's borders, with increasing speed and activity. It is a marketplace where we are still relatively unknown, and where one is more likely to be chosen based on how one appears. So here there is a particular need for a name that is easy to pronounce, decode, and recognize.
With Enity, we create a clearer connection between our brand and the business we are today – both in Denmark and internationally.
What does Enity mean?
Enity is a constructed word that combines the words energy, environment, unity, and quantity – as the essence of our entire purpose in this world. Unity refers to us gathering and uniting all energy and environmental data on one platform. With quantity and quantify, it means that we make the effort measurable and visualize data in numbers and quantities.
With the rebranding, Enity also introduces a new tagline – "Driven by your data." Customers' data is the epicenter of our technology – it is where all insights, decisions, and progress begin. That is why we are "driven by your data".
Small detail with great significance, and a greeting to our heritage
Enity retains the company's iconic building symbol in the logo – and there is a very special reason for that 10.
"We are still the same company, and I think it is fantastic that we retain the building icon in our new logo. It has some history and heart with it because it has been with us from the very beginning. A greeting to our heritage, to former founder Peter Appel, and to all our customers and those who know us. A symbol that we are still the same company, with the same values, same faces, and with the same focus on our customers and their data as always. A visual bridge from where we came from, to where we are, and where we will be in the future," says Morten Dysted Dahl.
