Track and document your carbon footprint

Taking responsibility for the climate is a significant task. But it pays off when the accounts are settled. With our EMS platform for digital energy management, we simplify and automate the task of data collection and documentation for your carbon accounting.

One-click carbon accounting

Automation reduces workload

Through digital remote reading and integrations with various data sources, consumption data is collected and reported into the correct categories without human involvement

Carbon tracking & Insight

Calculate your climate impact in accordance with the GHG Protocol’s scopes 1, 2, and 3, providing you with a CO2 figure for your total consumption-based climate impact within water, energy, and waste.

An investment that pays for itself

Digital data collection for the carbon accounts requires an investment in the EMS platform Enity EMS. An investment that quickly turns into a profit with a payback period of 1-2 years.

Key functions

Carbon accounting dashboard

The carbon accounting dashboard in Enity EMS is designed to give users a clear, real-time overview of their organization’s emissions and climate performance — from total footprint to actionable insights.

  • Total Co2 footprint overview
  • Scope breakdown and trend analysis
  • Geographic and site-specific emissions
  • KPI tracking and EnPIs
  • Emission factor transparency
  • Alert and deviations
  • Export and reporting

Multiple scope values

Increased adherence to the GHGP.

  • Enhanced alignment with the GHGP approach using subcategories for each scope.
  • The system can showcase totals that are either market-based or location-based.
  • Capability to monitor emissions that extend beyond the scopes defined by GHGP, in line with its recommendations.

Emission factors

The Method for Emission Factors

Enity´s carbon accounting solution uses an advanced methodology for calculating emission factors — a key element in understanding and reducing a company’s climate impact. Emission factors are linked to different types of meters, referred to as “emission types.” This allows users to create specific variations of these meter types, which facilitates more targeted use of the analysis features.

CSRD format

  • The system aligns data from EMS with climate reports and carbon accounting to specific sections in CSRD.
  • Gives you regular and consistent annual reporting.
  • Customization options and the ability to add comments.

Benchmarking

The Building benchmark analysis compares your company´s CO2 emissions from buildings with similar buildings in our EMS database.

  • Prioritizes the energy efficiency efforts with the highest climate impact
  • Supports setting realistic reduction targets
  • Enables data-driven baselines and follow-up
  • Aligned with ISO 50001 and SBTi requirements

Documentation & Reporting

  • All data can be exported to document any fundamental CO2 calculations.
  • A new “Save report” feature allows for the preservation of earlier versions.
  • Files containing sources on emission factors will be included.

Supporting your compliance

The climate report is generated automatically in accordance with the GHG protocol, drawing directly on the company’s/the building’s actual energy consumption. In this way, it is possible to map and display the company’s/the building’s overall climate impact from its energy consumption.

Energy data and consumption are automatically loaded and displayed in DKK, kWh, tCO2, and tCO2/m3. The data is divided according to the GHG Protocol’s scopes 1, 2, and 3. Other climate-related activities can be manually registered, allowing you to add data to the climate report in Enity EMS.

ESG reporting is the successor to CSR reporting and has been influential in recent years.

ESG has 3 reporting tracks (Environment, Social, Governance). We exclusively provide data foundation in the Environment category. Including

  • Energy consumption (electricity, heat, cooling, natural gas, etc.)
  • Renewable energy production (wind turbines, solar panels, surplus heat, etc.)
  • Water consumption
  • Scope 1 , 2 & 3 (according to the GHGP)
  • Waste

The CSRD directive is the ‘next-generation sustainability reporting,’ which includes a requirement for a climate account, for reporting on companies’ environmental impact.

We calculate the climate impact in scopes 1, 2, and 3, thereby providing you with a figure for the company’s total burden.

CSRD has 4 reporting tracks (General, Environment, Social, Governance). We exclusively provide data foundation in the Environment category, which is consumption-based, and consolidate it into an account that you can include in your overall CSRD reporting, including the following ESRS:

  • E1 Energy Consumption
  • E3 Water Consumption
  • E5 Waste
