DataHub is the central data system for the Danish electricity market, operated by the transmission system operator Energinet. Among other things, it holds meter data from Danish electricity meters and is used by grid companies, electricity suppliers and other market players to exchange data.

Why does DataHub matter for energy monitoring?

With the customer’s consent, an energy monitoring system can collect electricity consumption automatically from DataHub. That means no extra hardware and no manual meter readings to get an overview of electricity use across all your sites.

How do you get started?

• You give your EMS provider consent to collect data on your behalf
• The provider connects your metering points to the system
• Data is then updated automatically
